The series was produced by Kenneth Branagh, Ridley Scott, Judy Hofflund, and Kevin J. Walsh. The film is a sequel to Murder on the Orient Express, and Tom Bateman and Kenneth Branagh reprise their roles as Bouc and Hercule Poirot, respectively, from the previous film.
Death On The Nile Story
Hercule Poirot is back to solve another case; he was invited to a friend’s honeymoon celebration aboard a luxury ship in Egypt, where a murder occurs. Simon Doyle, his girlfriend, Jacqueline de Bellefort, and her closest friend and wealthy heiress Linnet Ridgeway-Doyle are involved in the mystery. Poirot saw Jacqueline introduce Simon to Linnet at a London blues club, but the plot twist is that Simon and Linney are married the next time they meet. Poirot accompanies some of the wedding parties on a Nile cruise, and as jealousy and vengeance surface, there are too many candidates to rule out.
