The Ranbir Kapoor – Alia Bhatt leading man Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukherji, has been in the works for some time. The film, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy, along with special appearances from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, eventually made it to the big screen. Supposedly one of the biggest releases of recent times, Brahmastra Witness invisible advance bookings for an off-holiday release.
Also on the overseas markets Brahmastra, which was released on 3894 screens, is witnessing an incredible trend in these markets. In fact, the film was released in Australia on Hoyts, Event and Village chains along with art house chain Palace Cinemas, making this another first for an Indian film.
