The much-discussed and highly anticipated Ayan Mukherji directed film Brahmastra is set to hit the screens tomorrow, September 9th. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the long-awaited film opens on a big note. According to reports Brahmastra has managed to sell over 1.80 lakh tickets on opening day alone across three major national multiple chains. Almost competitive with the Kartik Aaryan star’s total ticket sales Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 seen, Brahmastra managed to see 92,023 tickets in PVR installations alone. This is followed by INOX and CINEPOLIS, where the film’s box office sales were recorded at 65,197 and 29,938, respectively.
Currently with Brahmastra By selling 1,87,158 tickets in these three cinema chains alone, the film was able to see nearly Rs. 10 cr. from advance bookings on the first day alone. If that wasn’t enough, with even more screens to report on ticket sales, with single screens and spot bookings registering even higher sales, trade opinions that opening day business Brahmastra could easily near the Rs. 30 cr. mark.
